UK, August 16, 2025 — The second Poetry Evening brought together eight poets who took the stage at the front hall of a restaurant in Aldershot. Seated before them, the audience listened attentively as the event remained solely dedicated to poetry recitations, accompanied by the soft rhythm of traditional Nepali tunes. The occasion was organized by Sahitya Sangalo UK.
According to the format of the Poetry Evening, each of the eight poets recited three poems. The participating poets were Dr. Sumaya Rai, Prayas Dumi Rai, Kedar Sunuwar Sanket, Durga Prasad Pokharel, Gopi Sapkota, Dipa Limbu Rai, Lila Seling Mabo, and Sushma Rupabung Rai.
Nearly four dozen attendees enjoyed the creative works presented by the poets. The program was hosted by Narvik Jung Rayamajhi. In addition to organizing such poetry events, the online literary portal sahityasangalo.com also honors and awards various literary creators.
