Israeli Forces Continue Attacks on Southern Lebanon

Beirut, October 14 (QNA) : Israeli forces continued their attacks today on areas and towns in southern Lebanon, carrying out detonations and artillery shelling, as well as sweeping operations using machine-gun fire.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli forces targeted the towns of Al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun in the Western Sector, in addition to sweeping the area with machine-gun fire towards Buyut Al-Sayyad.
Artillery fire also struck the outskirts of the towns of Haddatha and Baraachit, coinciding with strikes on the Al-Arayesh area, located between the towns of Haris and Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil District, while the vicinity of Shaqra and Wadi Al-Salouqi came under intermittent artillery shelling.
Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a US-brokered framework agreement in June outlining security arrangements, including the gradual deployment of the Lebanese Army and the withdrawal of occupation forces, as well as measures related to reconstruction and economic recovery. However, the implementation of its provisions continues to face obstacles.
