Nick Dhimal Real Estate Faces Fraud Allegations; Complainants Say Cannabis Found Growing in 10 Nepali-Owned Homes and Hundreds Affected
London, 22 September 2026 — Allegations of fraud have emerged against Nick Dhimal Real Estate, a business that arranges property lettings for former and serving Gurkhas in the United Kingdom.
Nikhil Dhimal, originally from Birtamod, Jhapa, Nepal, is accused of defrauding hundreds of people through the business he established under his name. Dhimal joined the British Army as part of the 2018 intake and left after serving five years with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (1 RGR).
The complainants allege that Dhimal took responsibility for letting their properties by promising to find suitable tenants. They further claim that cannabis cultivation was discovered in 10 Nepali-owned homes let through his business and allege that he was complicit in those activities.
They also allege that he encouraged landlords to take out insurance covering unpaid rent, deliberately placed tenants who failed to pay, and then recovered money from insurers without passing the payments on to the property owners.
Dhimal is accused of defrauding more than 300 people through various arrangements. The complainants say they will soon release further details of the alleged fraudulent activities.

Companies House documents reportedly indicate that Dhimal also operates other companies. Shubham Jha and Dhimal’s elder brother, Pranik Dhimal, are described as assisting him in his business activities. The business is understood to have its main office in Coventry, with operations in other parts of the UK.
