Lila has been honored with the prestigious “Woman Empowerment Leadership Award” at Oxford University

London | Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community (GRNC) UK Chairperson Mrs Lila Seling Mabo has been honoured with the prestigious “Woman Empowerment Leadership Award.”

She received the award on 17 July 2026 at a special ceremony held during the 13th World Leaders Summit, organised by the Examination School, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

The ceremony was attended by members of the House of Lords, representatives from Kent County Council and Cardiff Council, former Mayor of Oxford Craig Simmons, renowned singer Nirupam Rai, and other distinguished guests. The event also welcomed prominent dignitaries, chief executives, public representatives, and respected community leaders.
