NRNA UK Holds Public Information and Interaction Programme in Aldershot

London: NRNA UK organised a public information and interaction programme in Aldershot on Sunday, 18 January, at the Empire Hall.
According to the organisation, the programme was conducted with the objective of engaging in direct dialogue with the Non-Resident Nepali community and exchanging information on contemporary issues.
The event was attended by the Central Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Biswasdip Tigela, as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he shared his views on the current situation of the Non-Resident Nepali community, the role of the organisation, and its upcoming priorities.

Speaking at the programme, NRNA UK President Prem Gaha Magar highlighted Nepal’s political and geopolitical situation in the post–Gen Z movement context. He also informed participants about plans to register a charity organisation and expand effective programmes under the campaign “Save the Nation, Build the Nation”, aimed at combating corruption.
The interactive session saw participation from former NRNA UK President Yogendra Bahadur Chhetri, Honorary Member of NRNA Shanti Thapa, Chief Patron David Gurung, Gorkha activists Dhan Bahadur Gurung and Pushpa Rana Ghale, CNCBG President Thark Rana, GESO Vice President Dharma Tamang, PANAS General Secretary Ramesh Shahi, NRNA ICC members, advisers, NRNA UK Wales State Coordination Council President Dipak Subba, Chief Adviser Dr Bhim Pun, along with office bearers and representatives from various organisations.
Chief guest Tigela responded to the questions and suggestions raised by participants in a clear and practical manner.

NRNA UK Spokesperson Dr Kul Prasad Kandel stated that such public information and interaction programmes play an important role in effectively conveying the voices, concerns, and suggestions of the community to the institutional level.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of NRNA UK President Prem Gaha Magar. The event was coordinated by Vice President Anil Mall and conducted by General Secretary Jurendra Khajum Limbu.
