Nepali singer and music composer B.C. (Bikram Chandra) Rai released two new music albums simultaneously at an event held in London.

In a grand ceremony, the albums Saat Samundra Pari and Sammohan were officially launched by Rai’s elderly mother, Dayadevi Rai. While blessing her son, she urged everyone to listen to and support his musical creations. The album Saat Samundra Pari features Rai’s own vocals, lyrics, and music. It includes seven songs: Saat Samundra Pari, Mero Haal Sodhnaley, O Pardeshi, Samjhanako Samadhi, Pani Lai Paryo, Jhimjhim, and Ae Kanchi.

In the second album, Sammohan, Rai has composed and performed the songs, with lyrics written by Roji Thulung. The album contains tracks such as Sammohan, Ajambari Phool, Phoolma Pani, Sanguro Galli, and Upahar. Lyricist Thulung also shared her personal experience of writing the songs during the event.

Rai, a popular full-time artist, has been contributing to Nepali music for nearly two and a half decades as a singer, songwriter, and composer. Both albums were recorded at his own recording studio in Ashford, UK. These releases mark his 9th and 10th albums.

Along with the album launch, four music videos were also released. The review of the new creations was presented by Biswasdip Tigela, and the program was hosted by Gangaraj Rai. At the end of the event, held at St. Simon Church Hall in Ashford near London, Rai performed several of his songs, delighting and energizing the audience.

Born in Bhojpur in far-eastern Nepal and raised in Dhankuta, Rai has been residing in Ashford for the past two decades. His contribution to Nepali music continues to be widely admired.
