An Interaction with Herne Katha’s Founders, Vidya and Kamal, in Ashford

On May 9, 2024, the latest episode of the story was screened in Ashford Town, UK.
Titled “Missing Child Notice,” this new episode was showcased. Following the screening, there was an engaging interaction session with Vidya Chapagai and Kamal Lamichhane, the presenters of Herne Katha.
Participants in the show hailed from Canterbury, Broadstairs, Folkestone, Maidstone, Brighton, and Ashford. They were asked about the types of stories they prefer, how they make their selections, and the difficulties and challenges they face. Some participants expressed their gratitude for the production of high-quality documentaries.
The program was conducted informally. Approximately two dozen questions were asked, including ones from Gorkha Sagarmatha Nepalese Community President Dambar Singkok, Gorkha Peace Foundation President Bhim Tumbahamphe, and singer Gangaraj Rai, who also offered suggestions.
The documentary screening and interaction were organized and moderated by Biswasdip Tigela. Voluntary contributions amounted to one thousand and one hundred pounds in support of Herne Katha.
Additionally, Herne Katha’s team was invited to the UK by Edinburgh University.
