“In Asford, on December 9, 2023, Nepali Christians from the International Christ Mission (ICM) celebrated Christmas in the UK.
The Christmas party included participation from Nepalis, local English individuals, and Africans. Artists adorned in Daura Suruwal and Gunyu Choli presented a collection of half a dozen Christmas songs in the Khasnepali language, sharing their Christmas wishes. The Nepalis who had recently arrived in the UK appeared to integrate well with the local community.
The event was organized by Raj Bahadur Sambahamfe and Mrs. Mary Rai, who warmly welcomed all attendees. Hemant Tawa conducted the program. The Nepali Christians chose to celebrate Christmas approximately two weeks before the actual Christmas day.”
